About this policy

RocketiQ operates this website. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse, apply to a programme, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter or use an available enrollment flow. For privacy questions, email contact@therocketiq.com or call +91 88663 92877.

Information you provide

  • Fellowship applications: contact and location details, education or work background, research interests, motivation, optional project experience or team preferences, and a required résumé or CV. The Google Form explains each field and the information associated with your Google account that is recorded when you upload a file and submit.
  • Enrollment: full name, email, WhatsApp number with country code, country, city and state or region. Depending on your current status, we also ask for your school or institution, discipline, study year, highest qualification and, optionally, company or organisation.
  • Orders: programme, amount, policy acceptance, order and payment references, payment status, relevant timestamps, refund information and fulfillment records. Details can be saved before payment succeeds. Test Mode submissions also create stored records.
  • Newsletter: email address, optional name, subscription consent, subscription or unsubscribe status and email delivery records.
  • Messages: the contact form collects your name, email address, optional phone number and message and sends them to our support inbox. We also receive information or attachments you choose to email us directly. Please avoid sending passwords, payment authentication codes or unnecessary identity documents.
  • Administration: administrator account information, a password hash and authentication records. Browsing and private order access do not require a student account.

How we use information

We use fellowship applications and CVs to review applicants, select participants, communicate decisions and arrange programme participation and joining details.

We use enrollment and order information to arrange participation, verify payments, provide order confirmations and joining details, respond to questions, assess cancellation requests and reconcile refunds. We also use relevant records to maintain the service, investigate problems and prevent misuse.

Newsletter subscription is a separate choice. Subscribing adds you to our free monthly aerospace and space technology newsletter and triggers a welcome email. Applying, enrolling or contacting us does not automatically subscribe you. Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter email to stop these messages; essential communications about an application or existing order are separate.

Service providers and external sites

Cloudflare serves the website and its services; Supabase hosts our application database. Razorpay processes payments and receives checkout contact information and transaction details. Payment credentials are entered in Razorpay's interface, not a RocketiQ card-details form. Resend delivers contact-form messages and order emails and manages newsletter contacts and delivery.

Research Fellowship 2.0 applications are collected through Google Forms. Responses are stored in the form and a linked Google Sheet; uploaded CVs are stored in RocketiQ's Google Drive. Google sign-in is required for the upload, and Google's privacy practices also apply when you use its services.

Some pages load images from Unsplash and video from Mixkit. These requests can disclose technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to those providers. Spotify and YouTube links take you to their own services. Their privacy practices apply when you use them.

Careers listings currently do not collect resumes through this website. If an opportunity later links to a Google Form or another application service, the information and files you submit will be handled through that service as well as by RocketiQ for recruitment. Review the form and its privacy information before submitting.

Our service providers may process information in India and in other countries. Their service locations, privacy practices and applicable requirements affect where and how processing occurs.

Cookies, browser storage and technical records

Administrator sign-in uses an authentication cookie. Checkout uses browser session storage to recover form drafts and an existing order when you refresh or return within the same tab. Enrollment drafts are cleared after confirmed payment or when you explicitly start a separate checkout; order recovery information may remain for that tab.

Hosting and payment services receive technical request information. We use operational logs and abuse-prevention records, including protected identifiers derived from IP addresses for newsletter and contact-form rate limits. These support reliability and security. Keep private order links safe: anyone holding the link can view that order's status without signing in.

Retention, security and your choices

We retain information for programme administration, transaction records, support, security and applicable obligations. There is no single deletion period covering every record. Completing an order does not automatically erase its enrollment details. Unsubscribing stops newsletter participation but does not automatically erase subscription and consent records.

We use access controls and other safeguards, but no website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. To request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email us. We may need to verify your request and may retain information needed for outstanding transactions or applicable obligations. We will explain relevant limitations.

School-age participants and policy updates

Some programmes are open to school-age students. If you are under 18, review this policy with a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians can contact us about a child's information or participation.

We may update this policy as the website and services change. The date above identifies this version. For programme and payment conditions, read our Terms and conditions and Cancellation and refund policy.
